What an awesome morning. Got the girls up early, made a hot breakfast, and sent them on their way!
Sedona was so excited. She is in 1st grade this year so she feels like a big girl now. She got to get many of the same supplies and goodies that her sisters got. Sedona even picked her backpack all on her own.
It is hard for me to believe that Sierra and Savannah are in 6th and 5th grade! Sierra is really beginning to blossom. This should be an exciting year for her. (last in elementary school)
Should be a busy one for me too! I signed up with the PTA to chair some events and have volunteered to be a room mom. But for now, I think I am going to try to get some work done, go out to lunch, and maybe… just maybe… squeeze in a power nap!

What a great day however busy weekend. We celebrated papa’s 66th Bday today. It was a great day filled with lots of food, friends, and family. Here is Papa with all his grandkids. Mama made her famous lumpia and pancit for lunch. The kids spent sometime outside hanging out with Papa and indulging our spontaneous photoshoot.
It was a little bitter sweet as my nieces are getting ready to move across the country. We will miss them dearly. They usually come over every other weekend to play and hang out. Their sweet spirits will be missed.
I did learn a little lesson today. Never shop for the party goods while you are brain dead. I bought candles that said 56 instead of 66! My kids will never let me live this down. ha! More pictures to come.

So I got to get my hands on the latest issue of our Holiday Idea book for 2009. And OMG. It is gorgeous! the photography is coffee table worthy, and the ideas are inspiring. (AND actually do-able!!!) Here is a little sneaky peek and giveaway! The book covers holiday from Halloween, Thanksgiving all the way to New Years.
These are just a couple of the projects I want to jump in right away! (I still have not scrapped last years Halloween pics…)

The good peeps over at Paperclipping Newbreak shared this Blooper video from a recent interview. Noell and her husband ROCK. I have found some new friends and can hardly wait to see them again. (hopefully soon) DANG that red light!
