Beef Kabobs are easy to make and great for customizing. Each person can add their favorite veggies to make the perfect original meal on a stick.

Beef Kabobs

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • Beef Sirloin 3-4lbs

Marinade

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • juice of one lime
  • garlic – 4-6 cloves crushed
  • ginger 1″ knob grated
  • ground pepper

Various vegetables of your choice.

  • peppers
  • onion
  • mushrooms
  • squash
  • eggplant
  • pineapple chunks

Soak Bamboo Skewers in water at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning up when you grill.

Cut beef into 1 1/2 inch cubes and set aside.  Mix together your marinade and pour over the beef chunks. Allow to marinade at least 30 minutes or overnight before assembling.

When ready grill, simply assemble the vegetables of your choosing with 3-4 chunks of beef per skewer and sprinkle with a little salt. Grill over medium high heat until cooked through. I found that it took about 6-8 minutes to get the chunks of beef to medium with all the veggies fully cooked.
