ok, I know that I am in need of help.. but I wanted to post this somewhere I could get to it easily.

I have got to pull it together..lol.

Ok, everyone who knows me knows that I LOVE comic book movies with hot guys. (I had a long THOR phase) And that every time one come out, I get a little a lot obsessed. THE AVENGERS is no different. Except this time Jeremy Renner is playing HAWKEYE. And THAT has caused me to be very busy. So the studio has been on hold. Let me explain.

• 12:01 am May 4 – Attended the Premier of Avengers (Imax 3D)
• 9:45 am May 4 – Attended the matinee of Avengers (Imax 3D – different theater)
• 2:30 pm  – watched Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol (with Jeremy Renner)
• 6:00 pm  – watched The Hurt Locker ( again, with Jeremy Renner)
• 8:00 pm  – spent three hours watching YouTube videos of all the stars of avengers, and downloading pictures.
• 11:30 pm – watched Mission Impossible AGAIN.
• 10:00 am May 5 – watched THOR (Chris Hemsworth and a cameo from Jeremy Renner – just for a moment)
• 1:00 pm – watched THOR again.
• 10:45 pm May 5 – Back to Avengers Imax 3D with Sierra
• 1:00 am – Stayed up till 6 am watching the Unusuals (a TERRIBLE TV series that lasted only one season starring Jeremy Renner)
• 7:30 pm – after a fun Sunday dinner with the family, and church. Watched MI: Ghost Protocol AGAIN.
• 11:00 pm May 6 – watched SWAT. (Jeremy Renner  of course)
• 10:00 am May 7 – watched highlights of the Avengers online.
• 11:30 am – played with my Nephew X while watching The Town. (Jeremy Renner)
• 2:00 pm – watched the HULK with X then replayed MI:Ghost Protocol scene at 1:23:31 about 100 times.
• 4:00 pm – watched more Avengers and Thor clips while cooking dinner.
• 1:00 pm May 9 – Avengers iMax 3D with lil Brother
•  9:45 pm May 11 – Avengers 3D with mama, Lea, and Logan
• 6:45 pm May 13 – Avengers iMax 3D with Brooke and crew. (mother’s night out)
• 11:pm May 14 – watched Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol one more time to help me sleep…lol.
• 12:45 May 16 – planning on another viewing of Avengers with Brooke.
• Also planning on seeing Avengers on D-Box

Right now, I am creating this blog post while looking for showings of the Avengers this Wednesday to watch with my little brother, sipping my ice cold soda through my Hawkeye collectors cup, typing on my mac with the Hawkeye screen saver texting my sister on my iphone with Hawkeye lock screen and avengers wallpaper. (not to mention about 50 downloaded pictures of the men of Avengers)

I need help or a man… or both. But until then – who wants to go see the show? It is really good…:)

Moving.

And in case you are wondering… moving sucks when you are a hoarder. Here are the stats…

• 86 boxes packed and moved from my studio.
• 14 more boxes of craft goodness found in my storage, and moved to the new office.

• 6 boxes of stuff PURGED.
• 1 table given a new home.

Conclusion.. I am never going to be able to put my office back together and I have a hoarding problem. If you would like to join me in this adventure stay tuned. Tomorrow is DAY 1 of my Studio Adventure.

So I am back. After a month of sheer madness, I think I am finally ready to be back. This week is amazingly busy. I am taping my class for TrueScrap and doing some filming with My Craft Channel for my show CraftTech.

So you may be wondering where I have been… well… just caught up in life.

I have said before, that my creativity has its peaks and valley’s. And the business of life, the stress of work, and some major life changes has left me with little creativity. During these times of creative low, I choose to not fight it. Instead I like to simply keep it at a low simmer. I look for inspiration in the world around me, online (Pinterest is like CRACK for these dry creative times), and even by just taking time to reacquaint myself with some of my favorite products. Fighting it just makes this part of my creative cycle painful. I feel guilty because I am not creating. I feel terrible that I don’t have the house decked out in its usual seasonal sparkle. But like life – my creativity ebbs and flows.

Now, after some weeks off – I am feeling that spark again. And I promise.. very soon to share some spring fabulousness.

I know that I have been a terrible blogger – what can I say. Sometimes life just gets the best of you. But rather than wrestle with my guilt.. lets party!  Guess who is teaching for TrueScrap3…?

There are some amazing classes and teacher, and of course the best part is you can attend this amazing weekend from the comfort of you home. Hope you will check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

Dont you just love the new year? I know I do. It’s the time I year that try to reignite my creativity… and this year – finally do a purge and redesign of my creative work space.

Along with my creative goals, is a goal to be a much better blogger. And TODAY is that day. I don’t have a ton of blog followers, but my “regulars” are pretty awesome. And I thank you for always being supportive. With that, lets kick off Pinterest Monday. Every Monday I will be sharing my favorite Pinterest finds. Then later in the week, I will be sharing what I create based on the inspiration I find!

Of course this is a blog, so there will be plenty of other posts and goodies along the way, but I figure. This will be a good start! Enjoy this week’s finds on my Valentine’s board. I’m adding more to it every day and can hardly wait to get cracking at the some fun Valentines day decor!

Arts and crafts has always been an interest of mine, but it isn’t for everyone. The likelihood is, you probably did something artistic when you were a child, but not everyone maintains that interest, and they only re-discover it when they fancy steering their life in another direction.

For those who have no prior experience, or you have spent more time playing Foxy Bingo, or updating your status on Facebook than creating, making things can seem a daunting task. What if you aren’t good at it? Why does my decoration not look the same as the one in the craft book?

Don’t worry. Practise makes perfect, as the saying goes. If you are sceptical, here are a few reasons why you should keep at it.

Hobby – You don’t even have to leave the house to make something. OK, so you might need to go to the store to buy some supplies, but you can try things at home.

Cheap – It doesn’t cost a lot. If it is a large art project then it might cost more but, overall creating a project such as a picture frame and decorating it to your liking, is cheaper than buying a generic one.

Bonding – It is a great way to spend quality time with your children, friends, and family. It will bring the children out of their shell and sets the creative juices flowing. You might also find that through watching their creativity, you are inspired yourself.

Creativity – Getting creative can help you in other areas of your life. By using your imagination, you help stimulate creative thinking, which is helpful when the boss asks you to ‘think outside of the box’ at work.

Variation – You can use old memorabilia that are scattered across your house, in draws, behind the sofa, up in the attic. Anything can be turned into a project if you set your mind to it.
