engagementinvite

Since we have decided to get married overseas, we are having a casual engagement party at the house so that our friends and family can get together and get to know the new “half”. I needed to get these invitations out quickly so I used pre-cut cards and printed the information on Kraft text weight paper.

I wanted envelope wraps but didnt want the expense of full wraps like those I will be using on the actual wedding invitation and wedding announcements – so I created these cute little square wraps that are the perfect size for a return address and have a sweet sentiment.

To create the wraps – download the template. PSD Label – fillable*  or PDF – no address

Print on 8.5 x 11 label paper or do what I did which was to print on 8.5x 11 kraft paper and then after trimming, I ran through my little Xyron to make them sticky. I prefer this method because I feel the “sticky” is stronger and I can just do the labels I need, not to mention I was able to use the exact same paper that I used for the information sheet on the invitation.

To create the invitation I simply printed the information sheet and then affixed it to the pre-cut card with a little pink bakers twine – then stuck on one of our favorite photos. I needed to get these out quickly so we didnt have the time to wait for our engagement pictures, but this still worked!

please note: although you can choose any font. If you are using the psd file and want the same font – the address was done in Champagne and Limousines a free font. Install that first and you are good to go!
