I’ve been MIA for the past few days in preparation for my little sister Lea’s Big Baby shower. In true Cabrera party fashion, it was quite a shindig. Mama cooked for days… as did I. And I created some fun party decorations. (a bit of a challenge since I am not really used to making things for BOYS!)

I created this recipe after tasting some similar cookies at Target. One day I really craved them but when I got to the store… they were fresh out.

So as I mentioned before (here) I am very proud to be a part of the PC Gourment book project. And this week, we are celebrating~ to do so here is another fun sneak peek into the book.  And if you like recipies and foodie goodness… be sure to visit my food blog (link in the sidebar) Foie de Vie.

The very lovely Alisa Bangerter supplied the recipe and created this fun project. And it is so easy, there is still time to make both in time for Halloween.

Seriously, best quiche ever. Not to mention easy! The only thing it isn’t. . . low fat!
