Easter Inspiration – Holiday Houses

When I made this little project I was inspired by the Holiday houses you often see cropping up around Christmas. I made this particular line of houses a couple years ago… and still love it.

This set I did last year, its smaller than the first but I love the little 3D elements. I think this weekend I will have to create a new set of little homes.

Creating the houses are really easy. I used Hambly Thick overlays for the bases and still have some to use. I really just eyeballed how big I wanted them. Then I cut cardstock and JBS Mini Bingo Cards as the roof, again just eyeballing it. Add some photos and premade embellies are you are done!

The sturdy weight of the overlays makes this stand up very nicely on its own. Although they have become a bit of an Easter tradition, they are cute anytime of year! They would make an nice gift.
